  • I’m curious to know if my Grandfather,Fred Robson, who was dredging superintendant. He died Christmas Day 1936 after emergency surgery at Thomas Knight Hospital. I have never seen or had a photograph of him. Even if you have no records of him, I am so thrilled that you are involved i this historic work. I was born Rosemary Robson, at 7 Collingwood Terrace in Blyth Northumberland

  • Hello Rosemary.

Please accept our apologies for the delay in getting back to you, but we are extremely busy with the Tall Ships Regatta in Blyth at the present time. Someone will be in touch with you shortly, hopefully 30 August after the Tall Ships have departed. We’re so pleased that our new website has proved interesting for you and hope you will keep visiting the site occasionally as items are being added weekly.

    Regards
