Plans for hopper barges, Blyth Harbour Commission, Blyth, Northumberland
Set of two rolled plans for hopper barges. Both annotated “This is one of the plans referred to in the agreement dated 14th December 1912 Between W.H.Warren and the Blyth Harbour Commission”. Plan A is for a 400 ton hopper barge, 100.0 bp x 30.6 bm x 12.0 dm. Plan B is for a 160 ton barge, 75 bp x 25.0 x 10.0 dm. Both plans signed by Charles H. Tate, Naval Architect, Newcastle Upon Tyne, and by W.H.Warren. Both carry stamp of W.H Warren Shipbuilder and Repairer, New Holland, Hull. Both plans stamped Charles H. Tate, 7, Side, Newcastle Upon Tyne and dates 27-11-12 at the lower edge. Both show 2 sections, elevation and plan. Scale 1/2 in = 1ft and 1/4in = 1ft (on same plan).
